Two northeast Missouri brothers are accused of assaulting a woman they know.

According to court papers, the crimes happened Tuesday at the victim's home in the 400 block of West Elizabeth Street in Kirksville.

The suspects are Ever Palomino, 34, and Francisco Palomino, 37, both of Kirksville.

Charges against them include Third-Degree Domestic Assault, First-Degree Burglary and Tampering with or Attempting to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution.

Francisco Palomino is also charged with Abuse of a Child.

Police say in court documents that the two men forcibly entered the woman's home and injured her.

A child in the home who witnessed the attacks told officers he saw Ever Palomino strike the victim with his fist and throw her into the bathtub.

When the boy tried to help his mom, he said Francisco threw him against a wall.

Police said the victim suffered a one-inch cut about her eyebrow when Francisco forced his way into the home and hit her with the door.

Both suspects are being held in the Adair County Law Enforcement Center on $75,000 cash-only bond.
