Kirksville store honored for outstanding performance

A Kirksville retailer had been recognized as one of the best in the nation.

In early April, J.C. Penney honored Kirksville general manager Janet Gremaud for outstanding performance in 2017.

Gremaud received the award on April 5 at a special ceremony.

Marvin R. Ellison, chairman and chief executive officer; Joe McFarland, executive vice president and chief customer officer; and Tony Hurst, senior vice president of stores were in attendance to recognize the leaders’ achievements.

“I’m proud of our dedicated associates at JCPenney in the Kirksville Shopping Center who received this special recognition,” said Hurst.

The Founder’s Award is the Company’s highest honor.
