Morning crash south of Ottumwa slows traffic
OTTUMWA, Iowa —
An accident south of Ottumwa interfered with the Tuesday morning commute.
Commuters saw traffic slow to a crawl around 8 a.m.
The crash happened on Highway 63 south of Ottumwa.
As a red Pontiac pulled out of the south BP gas station, it was struck by another vehicle traveling south on 63.
The Pontiac ended up in ditch on the west side of the highway.
A Wapello County Sheriff's deputy on the scene told KTVO he didn't believe there were any serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
