Mt. Pleasant man killed in early morning crash
HENRY COUNTY, Iowa —
An Iowa man is dead following an early morning crash.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, at North Jackson Street and Highway 78 in Wayland.
A vehicle driven by Barry Wilson, 43, of Mt. Pleasant, failed to negotiate a curve and came to rest on the south side of the highway.
Troopers say Wilson was not wearing a seat belt when this crash happened.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Wayland Fire Department and the Henry County Medical Examiner.
