Northeast Missouri fugitive found under assumed name in Arkansas
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
Authorities in Arkansas have picked up a man wanted for passing bad checks in northeast Missouri.
Adair County Sheriff Robert Hardwick said Monday that Matthew S. McCloud, 26, formerly of Brashear, Mo., was arrested by authorities in Benton, Arkansas, while living under an assumed name.
McCloud was wanted on four counts of Passing a Bad Check in Scotland County.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas apprehended McCloud Monday. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Missouri.
