A northeast Missouri bridge over train tracks is closed after failing a state inspection.

MoDOT has closed part of Cranberry Way, near Gibbs, Mo. The Adair County Commissioners told KTVO Wednesday that the bridge is closed indefinitely, pending a decision on the bridge’s future by BNSF. A spokesman for the company said officials are still looking into what needs to happen next.

Inspections are carried out every two years, and the bridge failed its inspection this month.
