Pedestrian recovering after being struck by vehicle in Lancaster
LANCASTER, Mo. —
A pedestrian is recovering after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Missouri.
Troopers say that incident happened at 7 p.m. Saturday, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 136 and Linn Street in Lancaster.
A vehicle driven by Emily Buckalew, 17, of Lancaster, struck Christopher Cassidy, 46, also of Lancaster, as he was walking in the westbound lane of Highway 136.
He was transported by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment of minor injuries.
Buckalew was not injured.
