Chris Bailey and his wife are planning a faith-based mission trip to Uganda in September.

In an effort to raise money for the trip, Bailey held a pickeball tournament on Saturday at the Rehoboth Baptist Church In Kirksville.

This will be Bailey's third trip to the country, and his wife's first.

"If you've never been out of the country, there's a lot out there that I wasn't aware of," Bailey said.

A lot of the players in attendance had never met Bailey before, but they had heard of and support his mission.

Bailey, who owns a frozen yogurt business in Kirksville, says he donates 10-percent of the funds on Fridays to FNC, the Christian-based school he will travel to.
