OTTUMWA, Iowa — The driver of a pickup truck is okay after his vehicle caught on fire in Ottumwa Tuesday.

Just after 5 Tuesday evening, Ottumwa firefighters were called to the parking lot of North Court Baptist Church where the truck was fully engulfed in flames.

The driver told firefighters he noticed smoke coming out of the truck's air vents, so he pulled the vehicle over and escaped unharmed.
