BLOOMFIELD, Iowa — A Bloomfield mother charged with child neglect and endangerment was well aware what the child's father was doing.
Bloomfield Police announced the arrest of Kendra Hoover this week.
The charges were related to the conviction of Hoover's boyfriend, Steven Crook Jr., on four federal counts of sexual abuse.
Crook was arrested after investigators uncovered video evidence of Crook abusing the couple's daughter.
According to court documents, on or about Nov. 10, 2017, Hoover had viewed the video of Crook abusing the child.
The documents allege Hoover continued to leave the child be alone with Crook, resulting in him abusing her at seven additional times.
Hoover is being held on $100,000 bond. She has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 7.
Crook is scheduled to be sentence in federal court in April.
