A Heartland native and American bluegrass singer is returning home for a special performance.

Rotary Club of Kirksville is getting ready to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

At the celebration, singer-songwriter and Grammy Award winner Rhonda Vincent will perform with her band Rage.

Concert tickets are selling quickly and organizers say tickets will be sold out well before the event.

Vincent is a honorary member of the club and she also performed at the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans in 2011.

Following the reception and banquet, the Rhonda Vincent Concert will be held in Baldwin Hall on Truman State University's campus at 7: 30 p.m. on March 10.

"She is just a tremendous performer and I know that everyone who turns out to see her will enjoy the show. She just has that ability to appeal to people of all ages and all different genres of music," said member Ray Klinginsmith.

During the celebration, Kirksville members want to remind everyone of the legacy of prior Rotarians and their commitment to serving communities throughout the world.

Even if you are not a member of the club, you are still invited to attend.
