SE Iowa woman falls asleep at wheel in NEMO
NEAR GRANGER, Mo. —
A southeast Iowa woman was hurt after falling asleep at the wheel in northeast Missouri.
The wreck happened at 10 a.m. Monday on Highway 136, one mile east of Granger.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Nadeen Finch, 66, of Keokuk, fell asleep, drove her pickup off the left side of the roadway and through a fence.
It came to rest in a field. Finch suffered moderate injuries.
She was taken by ambulance to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
Finch was wearing a seat belt.
