UPDATED: Semi rear-ends SUV on Highway 63 in Sublette

UPDATE: The Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report states the SUV was driven by Megan Waddle, 17, of Greentop, Missouri.

She suffered moderate injuries.

The tractor-trailer was driven by John Sidler, 32, of Boone, Iowa. He was not hurt in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

A two-vehicle crash blocked one lane of Highway 63 just north of Kirksville Thursday afternoon.

Right around 12:20 p.m., a semi truck rear-ended an SUV as it was getting ready to turn onto Buck Creek Road in Sublette.

The impact pushed the SUV off the road and into a ditch on the opposite side of the highway.

There was only one injury in the crash. The woman who was driving the SUV was taken from the scene by an Adair County ambulance.

She was awake and responsive while leaving the scene.

The driver of the semi truck was unharmed in the accident.
