Southeast Iowa woman injured in crash on slick Missouri road

A southeast Iowa woman is recovering after a crash on a slick Missouri road.

According to state troopers, the crash happened just after 11 a.m. Friday, on Missouri Highway 81, nine miles north of Kahoka, Missouri.

A vehicle driven by Selina Meyer, 29, of Bonaparte, Iowa, lost control on an ice covered roadway.

As a result, the car traveled off the left side of the road, overturned, and came to rest on its top.

A passenger, Debra Williams, 62, of Bonaparte, was transported by ambulance to Keokuk Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Meyer was not injured in this crash.
