The Macon County Flywheel returns for the 34th year

The Macon County Flywheel events are underway.

The show features custom cars and homemade tractors.

Events kicked off on Thursday, July 24th with entertainment and a baby show.

The events will continue until Sunday, July 27th when it wraps up with a truck and tractor pull.

There is a one-time admission fee of ten dollars which allows access to the park each day.

This event has been going on for the last 34 years and members of the Flywheel Club believe it attracts people of all ages.

â??So many of our people have agriculture backgrounds and this kind of takes them back to that period,â?? said Danny Primm, Flywheel Club President. â??Even though their older folks they still enjoy seeing them and they usually bring grandchildren or generations below them to come out and see them too and they'll explain that this is how they used to do it.â??
