PUTNAM COUNTY, Mo. — Three northeast Missouri men are now facing multiple drug-related charges.
On Thursday, officers with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the North Missouri Drug Task Force, along with assistance from the Unionville Police Department, arrested Michael A. Cleaver, 55, and Alva L. Kline, Jr., 37, both of Unionville, Missouri.
Cleaver is facing two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location, a Class A felony. His bond has been set at $50,000 cash only.
Kline is facing a count of Delivery of Controlled Substance Except 35 grams or less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid, a Class C felony. His bond has been set at $20,000 cash only.
Those arrests come from investigations by the North Missouri Drug Task Force. Additional arrests or charges may still be pending.
An additional arrest was made when Kline was taken into custody.
Tony J. Maletta, 32, of Unionville, Missouri, was found in possession of drug (marijuana) paraphernalia at the time officers made contact with him.
He was arrested and later released with a Uniform Citation to appear in court on December 11, 2018.
