HANNIBAL, Mo. — Two northeast Missouri residents are behind bars facing drug charges following a traffic stop.
According to the Hannibal Police Department, officers with the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad received information that two individuals were traveling to Hannibal with narcotics.
A traffic stop was made, and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
The search yielded a large amount of crystal methamphetamine.
Britton Friday, 36, and Miranda Ferry, 22, both from Hannibal, were arrested and placed on 24-hour holds pending formal charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
They are currently being held at the Marion County Jail.
