Traffic stop in Missouri nabs 56 pounds of marijuana

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested two people Monday night after discovering 56 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 29 in Buchanan County.


Tamika R. Green, 34, and Daron L. Cabine, 39, were arrested at 10:30 p.m. and taken to the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center.

Green and Cabine are both from Arkansas.

The patrol said the vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.

Both Green and Cabine have been charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance.

Court hearings are set for Thursday, July 5th.
