Truman State University celebrates new graduates

    A little over 300 students made their way across the stage at Truman State University to receive their diploma.

    Truman State University conducted its Winter 2018 Commencement Ceremony Saturday morning at Pershing Arena.

    The graduation recognized students earning their bachelors degree and masters degrees.

    Missouri State Representative Nate Walker was in attendance.

    Truman State graduate and vocal soloist, Dominic Armstrong, gave the commencement speech.

    He spoke to the students about the next big adventure waiting for them in life, and that you should always remember to breathe and don't let the no's stop you from pursuing your dreams.

    Immediately following the commencement ceremony, the university hosted a reception in the HUB of the Student Union Building for all students, family members, and guests.
