The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) recently released its list of schools with extensions of accreditation.

In total, 44 schools were extended for business, two for accounting and 17, including Truman State University, were extended in both business and accounting.

AASCB accreditation has been known with the highest standards in business education and has been earned by only five percent of the world’s schools offering business degrees at the bachelor level or higher.

Dean of Truman School of Business Debra Kerby is relieved about the extension.

"When we received the official message that we had a full five year extension of our accreditation, of course everyone was pretty thrilled," said Kerby.

Truman State offers both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration.
