Two arrested for drug possession following search of Kahoka apartment

A search warrant has nabbed two northeast Missouri residents on drug charges.

On the evening of August 3, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 200 East Gate CT Apt 6 in Kahoka, Missouri.

While searching the residence drugs were found.

Lucky Shania Ackley-King, 21 of Kahoka, and Wesley Michael Wood, 27, also of Kahoka, were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Ackley-King was arrested on one felony; possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and one misdemeanor; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ackley-King was transported to the Clark County Detention Center and is currently being held on a $35, 000.00 cash-only bond.

Wood was arrested on one felony; possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and two misdemeanors; possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wood is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $35,000.00 cash only bond.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Kahoka Police Department.
