Two police officers recognized for lifesaving actions
MACON, Mo. —
Two police officers were recognized at the Macon City Council meeting for their life saving actions while on duty.
Macon Police Officer Cpl. Andre Williams and Seth Rupp were on a call to check the well being of a man at his home on June 13. When they arrived, they found the man needed immediate medical care. He became unresponsive and officers performed CPR until medical EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital.
The man survived what may have been a fatal situation.
Macon Police Chief Adam Dawdy presented Lifesaving Awards to Williams and Rupp at the council meeting on Tuesday night, where the pair were commended for their actions.
