KAHOKA, Mo. — Both a vehicle and workshop were destroyed by a weekend fire in Kahoka, Missouri.
According to the Kahoka/Clark County Fire Department, a vehicle fire was reported in the 600 block of North Walnut Street to the Clark County Dispatch Center just before 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
When crews arrived on scene, a vehicle was found to be fully engulfed, with flames spreading throughout the workshop it was stored in.
The workshop and the vehicle, identified as a project truck, are believed to be total losses.
The cause of the fire was not apparent due to extensive damage, but witness accounts indicate it originated in the engine compartment of the vehicle inside the workshop.
The Kahoka Fire Department wishes to thank neighbors, Clark County Ambulance who was on scene in case of injury, the Clark County Sheriff's Office, and the Clark County Dispatch for their presence and assistance, as well as the volunteer firefighters who responded to the call.
