Cly (“Junior”/”Papo”) E. Law, Jr.

Cly E. Law, Jr. of Green City, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

Junior was born September 28, 1931 in Green City, to Cly E. Law, Sr. and Edna (Rouse) Law. On March 7, 1964, he married AvaNell (Conkin) Cunningham-Law in Kirksville, she survives him.

Also surviving him: a son, Ronnie Cunningham of Muscatine, Iowa; three grandsons, Derek, Justin, and Brett Cunningham; nine great grandchildren, Kayla, Haden, Lucas, Logan, Ally, Alex, Mason, and Brady; one great-great granddaughter, Adeline Bean; one sister, Dorris Hoffman of Brownsberg, Indiana; one brother, Dwain Law and wife Shirley of Kirksville; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Law of Ozark, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Junior was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Edgar Law; three sisters and their spouses, Virginia and Wayne McNabb, Janie and Donald Moddrell, and Margaret and Charles Mitchell, and one brother-in-law, Melvin Hoffman.

Junior attended the Assembly of God Church in Green City. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War in Korea. Junior worked as a carpenter all his life. He was a member of the American Legion Post #365, and the Kansas City Local Brotherhood of Carpenters Union- Local #315. Junior loved working with his hands, restoring cars, and building things.

Junior’s body was donated to science, and a Graveside Memorial service will be held at a later date. Ruschmeier Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.
