OTTUMWA-Larry A. Hull, 74, of Ottumwa, died at 8:46 a.m. May 10, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

He was born November 14, 1943 in Ottumwa to Chester James and Mildred Alice Smith Hull. He married Rebecca Sue Ford on May 16, 1964.

A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, Larry lived several years in Minooka, IL where he graduated from high school.

Larry drove a sanitation truck for Gene Phillips, J&L Sanitation and for Waste Management from where he retired.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, tinkering with old cars and riding lawn mowers.

Larry is survived by his wife, Becky; his children, Lorrarine Ellen Hull and Chester James Hull both of Ottumwa; 2 grandchildren, Cody Allen Hull of Ottumwa and Casey ReneƩ (Mike) Simmers of Missouri; 7 great-grandchildren, Makynna, Tyler, Tanner, Grayson, Emma, Mallory and Kierra; and a brother, Donny (Marcy) Hull of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Larry A. Hull Jr; brothers, Jim, Jack and Danny Hull; sisters, Jean Miller, Evelyn Hon and Betty Wilson.

His body has been cremated.

Graveside services and inurnment will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Shaul Cemetery with Rev. Jane Martinez officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
