Truman State volleyball will compete in the Crossover Tournament


Truman State volleyball will take a break from Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a trip to the 10th annual Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, Ill. on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 13-14

. It is the nation's largest collegiate volleyball tournament.

The regional volleyball event will feature 36 NCAA DII Midwest region programs, including 15 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), 12 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), and nine Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) volleyball programs that will represent their respective conferences.

Truman will take on Lake Superior State on Friday at 2:30 p.m., Ohio Valley on Saturday at 10 a.m. and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Last season, the Bulldogs won one of their three matches at the event including a 3-0 loss to then-No. 24 Ferris State, a 3-2 win over Lake Erie and a 3-0 loss to Hillsdale.
