Given by Mrs. Donna Ayers, 95 years young, life Long resident of Macon County. She will share her years of knowledge from family members that served in the Revolutionary War to Vietnam War. Will also share info on her husband during WWII, the first to cross the Rhine River in Germany and liberation thereof. Donna has been active member of Daughters of American Revolution for 57 years. This will be a great informative program on Historical events!
Program will begin at 6:00 PM

The 19th annual Iowa SIDS Walk for the Future
The walk will be held at the Keokuk County Fairgrounds and includes a family walk, memorial balloon release, kids’ activities, raffle and refreshments. On line registration is available at http://www.iowasids.org/index.php/walk-for-the-future. Before 8/13, adult registration is $25 and youth is $10. Registration includes activities and walk shirt. On 8/25, on-site registration at the What Cheer Walk begins at 8:30 am and the Walk begins at 9:00 am.
