School: Truman State University
Hometown: Kirksville, Mo.
I was born in Kirksville, went through school here, went to Truman, and now I'm excited to begin my career here in my hometown!
I graduated from Truman State University in 2014 after two years as general manager of KTRM Radio, where I was named the top station manager in the country by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, and received national and state awards for broadcast and multimedia news coverage. I was also fortunate enough to announce play-by-play for quite a few sports, and was named the #1 student play-by-play announcer in the state by the Missouri Broadcasters Association. Before graduation, I was honored to be recognized by the university with a Senior Leadership Award and by being inducted into the Student Hall of Fame.
Despite growing up in Kirksville, two of my more unforgivable flaws are being a rabid Denver Broncos and a New York Yankees fan. Hopefully, though, you can overlook that and if there's anything you think is important, that's what I want to know about, so feel free to let me know anytime by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
